Lexio Terms of Use
Effective date: 2026-04-12. By downloading or using Lexio you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lexio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or commercially exploit the App or its content.
3. Subscriptions, Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation
Certain features of Lexio require an auto-renewable subscription ("Premium") or a one-time lifetime purchase. Available plans, benefits, billing periods, and prices are shown in the App and on the App Store screen at the time of purchase.
- Premium is available on a monthly or yearly auto-renewable basis, and as a one-time lifetime purchase, as shown before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period at the then-applicable renewal price.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.
- If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period already paid for.
- Except where required by applicable law or granted by Apple, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated amounts for partially used periods.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that grants access for as long as the App is available. It does not auto-renew.
- We may change, suspend, or discontinue subscription plans, pricing, or features at any time to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Billing, payment processing, renewals, and refund workflows are operated by Apple. We do not store your payment card information.

4. Refunds
All purchases, billing disputes, and refund requests are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.
5. Content
Lexio's vocabulary groups, stories, and flashcard content are provided for personal educational use only. Public-domain story texts are sourced from openly licensed literary works. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use the curated vocabulary content commercially without written permission.
6. Prohibited Use
Prohibited uses include but are not limited to:
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
- Using the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Circumventing or tampering with subscription or purchase verification.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Lexio is a vocabulary learning tool and is not a substitute for formal language instruction or test-preparation courses.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
